Berg Jones
& Sarvis make public artworks that range from abstract modern dance
to raucous physical theater. Ardent collaborators, they have created new
works with other artists including dancers Ann Carlson, Susan Foster,
Jonathan Lunn, Daniel McCusker, Susan Rose, Debra Wanner, and Renee Wadleigh;
actor/director Davis Robinson; poet Stu Kestenbaum; painter Alan Bray;
and musicians Chris Moore and Brad Terry. Committed to their roles of
citizens and teachers, they have taught and created performances in more
than 100 Maine towns. They also teach in the Department of Theater and
Dance at Bowdoin College in Brunswick, Maine.

Gretchen Berg was
a member of Celebration Mime Theater and toured with New England Vaudeville
Revue. Earning an Masters in Education from Harvard University in 1998,
she works exstensively with teachers and graduate students, designing
innovative ways to incorporate theater and dance in a variety of educational
settings.

Gwyneth Jones was
a member of NYC's Dan Wagoner and Dancers for five years, has worked
as a guest artist at London Contemporary Dance Theater, and performed
with Ram Island Dance Company. In 1996 she was awarded a Maine Arts
Commission Individual Artist Fellowship.

Paul Sarvis was
originally a folk dancer, performing and teaching Scottish dance across
the U.S. and Canada. As a modern dancer he has danced with Liz Lerman
in Washington, D.C., both June Finch and Debra Wanner in NYC, Ram Island
Dance Company in Maine, and Gloria Unti in San Francisco.
